Fourth and final part (4 of 4) of an interesting interview / press conference with Mr Son, Dang Xuan the Product Manager of Footprint Vietnam Travel. Taken on 23 October 2009 at Suntec Singapore during the ITB Asia 2009, the timing was originally set for a press conference, but a brief presentation and a boardroom set up, allowed for a good range of questions and answers about travel in Vietnam. Tourism and its development in Vietnam was discussed, as were topics on more general consumer travel. Cycling in Vietnam became a main sub topic, and recommendations given on whether to use road bikes or mountain bikes, whether to travel to Vietnam with your own bicylce, support vehichles, and if the company can take care of it/them while you move around the country. Other topics were more general, and range from moving around Vietnam, to where to go and what to do. An interesting discussion, which for travellers who have not been to this amazingly beautiful country, should help with just a little inisght into what to expect, and perhaps give a few ideas of where to go.
Vietnam is outstandingly beautiful, and offers great golf, stunning scenerey, mountains, spectacular beaches, impressively beautiful cities like Hanoi, and areas like Halong Bay which are quite simply breathtaking. If you have not yet been, make it a priority before the visitor arrival numbers grow too much!
There are four parts (around 10 minutes each) to the Footprint Vietnam Travel Press Conference / Interview.
